Good Delivery Program

Local non-profit Life Is Good Now Matter What (LIGNMW) has a new look and a new program to add to its mission of granting escapes to adults with cancer in Northeast Ohio.

Whereas traditional escapes have ranged from a weekend away or dinner and a baseball game, LIGNMW’s Good Delivery Program seeks to deliver good to adults with cancer in Northeast Ohio who may be unable to leave their homes.

Good Delivery options include:

  • Dinner delivery
  • Flowers/plant delivery
  • Groceries delivery
  • Craft beer delivery
  • Bill to be paid ($75 toward a bill)

Both traditional escapes and the Good Delivery Program are open to all adults battling cancer. Recipients can be nominated by someone they know (family, friends, doctors, nurses, etc.) or via self-nomination. Recipients must have a valid cancer diagnosis (any type of cancer, any stage accepted) and be an adult over the age of 18 years of age living in Northeast Ohio.

How it works

LIGNMW will receive the nomination forms and contact the nominee for approval to fulfill the deed. If granted by the nominee we will fulfill the deed and update the nominator.

COVID-19 and General Health Disclaimer:

While, should this option be selected and agreed to by the recipient and while Life is Good No Matter What will make special note to communicate to the vendors to ensure food orders/delivery drivers take their government-mandated appropriate steps to ensure higher levels of safety during this time, Life is Good No Matter What will not assume responsibility for this decision and/or its potential impact on the health and safety of recipients and/or any negative consequence health-related or otherwise assumed by third-party food vendors/grocery vendors/other vendors. To accept any benefit from Life is Good No Matter What will be personal choice acknowledged by the recipient with the right to refuse. Local Economy Disclaimer

Please note, while it is not a hard and fast rule, our goal will be to choose small, local businesses for all services. When nominating, please keep this in mind to choose local restaurants, brewpubs, local flower shops, grocers, etc. In other words, if the recipient's favorite restaurant is "Big Chain Pasta," we'll ask the recipient to consider a locally-owned option as well.
